Hey, welcome to this blog by myself. My other blog is bodgertown.wordpress.com, but that is more a portfolio/archive of stuff created by me and my friends. This one is just to write down things really. I don't have a structure, so Ill just write some things
1. Netball sucks. And girls that play netball are horrible because they ignore you. there
2. I was watching Daria and it's a pretty good show, like I remember it, except this time I can actually understand the humor. And the humor believe it or not, is pretty good. I now have to get through the other 60 episodes in the box set. Although Beavis and Butthead was better I think and I am psyched for the new season coming out this year.
3. I finished Perks of Being a Wallflower by Steven Chbosky and it is quite a good book with moments of real.. sweetness. It is similar to Catcher in the Rye, my favorite book ever, except not as negative and angsty.. when you think of Perks of Being a Wallflower, you don't feel quite as snarky as you do when thinking about Catcher in the Rye. But they are both amazing novels, just for the characters.
4. Me, Tim and James are editing our media documentary which we have pretty much finished filming. It is meant to be a persuasive documentary that sarcastically says that video games are bad and lead to violence. The gimmick is that instead of using GTA and Manhunt as examples of violence, we use harmless games such as Peggle, Minecraft and Pacman Adventures to demonstrate our point. Only thing is, the documentary goes off on quite a large tangent, which I like, but we won't get a good mark for persuasiveness. It was fun to film though which is important- media production often gets really stressful and negative. But I will have pretty good memories of filming this one, so I think that counts.
